This two matching sneaker release from DC’s Life Collection is called the Battleship Pack. The styling is not what is expected from DC’s normal skateboarding influenced line up of shoes. The Admiral towers above with a high cut similar to the Supra Skytop and the low cut Sector 7 is done in the same styling. Erick Morillo Arrested / Drug Possession / Tisk Tisk
Internationally renowned DJ Erick Morillo has been arrested and charged with possession of cocaine at Glasgow Airport.
Morillo pleaded not guilty to the charge when he appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday.
He was released on bail but ordered to return to Scotland in March for a trial. [dancenova]

As you can see some numbers are black and white. These numbers all depend on a ton of factors like promotion and credibility. DJmag’s poll has been going down for years so of course it is a staple in the dance community. With that siad, DJ’s having been pouring more effort into swaying votes from fellow fans. RA’s poll is the sites first stab at a viewers choice poll, there user base is unknown and although they take on a global scale I’m sure being a fairly new site they are saturated in more places then others. At least four different Fabric mixes could have landed on any reputable list of the year’s best dance collections. Depending on your mood and your hormonal levels, either Metro Area’s syrupy Demerol disco mix, M.A.N.D.Y.’s 25-track thumpfest (featuring Yello, Gui Burrato and Booka Shade), or DJ Yoda’s insanely diverse FabricLive mix (Violent Femmes, Jurassic 5, Bell Biv Devoe, Adam F, Wiley), could effectively wobble your azz. Simian’s stands a little above the rest (save one - see below) in its audacity, inclusiveness and ability to celebrate electro and house without resorting to the stupid futuristic robotic stuff.
